What it all means…
We need a show of solidarity with Britain’s Global Majority communities. They need a visible show from us that this bullying and intimidation is unnecessary. That we won't tolerate this anymore.

For too long, the Union Flag has been misused to intimidate and exclude. This is a movement to reclaim it, not reject it, and redefine it as a symbol of hope, belonging and diversity.
The Unity Flag draws from both the four nations of the United Kingdom and the diverse communities that make modern Britain strong.
Core National Colours:
🔴 Red – England’s St George’s Cross: courage and the shared struggle for justice
🔵 Blue – Scotland’s Saltire: resilience and cultural strength
🟡 Yellow – Wales: vitality, energy and hope, echoing the dragon and daffodil
🔵 Blue – Northern Ireland: acknowledging the traditions that shape its heritage
Unity & Diversity Colours:
💚 Green – Growth, renewal and cultural heritage
🖤 Black – Remembrance of struggles against racism, and a stand against exclusion
💜 Purple – Creativity, justice, and solidarity across differences
🧡 Orange – Visibility and courage of those often marginalised
💖 Pink/Magenta – Inclusion and LGBTQ+ visibility
The Meaning Together:
✨ The traditional cross structure keeps us grounded in Union Flag heritage.
✨ The expanded palette reflects Britain today: diverse, proud and united.
✨ Each colour weaves together national and global stories, showing that pride in Britain cannot be separated from pride in its diversity.

“Until the Union Flag is no longer misused as a banner of hate, we will fly the Unity Flag, a symbol of the Britain we are building: equal, diverse and united.”
